Dear Heather (age 16),

Here are my ABCs of advice as you head out into the amazing world before you…

Ask questions.

Be yourself.

Chase your dreams.

Dare to be different.

Expect happiness.

Find strong mentors.

Give back to your community.

Help others.

Inspire and be inspired.

Just do it!

Keep smiling.

Laugh.

Meet new people.

Never settle.

Open yourself up to real love.

Pray.

Quietly lead…you have it in you.

Remember where you come from.

Stop underestimating yourself.

Think things through.

Ugly has nothing to do with looks.

eVery rose has its thorn (sorry I couldn’t help but make a reference you could truly relate to).

What you see is what you get.

Set a good eXample.

You are beautiful!

Zero regrets.

Love,

Heather (age 35)

P.S. Don’t get the blonde highlights senior year of college. That was not a good look for us!
